Trip Description: The trip will gather in Arlington, VA on Friday, April 26th at 1:00PM to pack and drive to the trailhead. We will hike and camp for two nights in the backcountry, celebrating God’s creation and worshipping with every step. On Sunday morning, we will conclude with a trail Eucharist and then return to Arlington at 2:00PM on Sunday, April 28th. This trip is ideal for women who are curious to try backpacking or who enjoy backpacking but want to do so with a group rather than alone. Our reflection theme for the weekend will be about worshipping in ordinary life and finding God outside of church. As always, all essential gear is available for borrowing, and scholarships are available upon request.
**You do not have to an Episcopalian to come on this trip, but please note that the reflection sessions will often involve prayer and Christian-focused language on this specific trip.
